Prince Hussain, the eldest son of the Sultan of the Indies in "Prince Ahmad and the Fairy Peri-Banu," travels to Bisnagar (Vijayanagara) in India and buys a magic teleporting tapestry, also known as a magic carpet. After losing the chance to marry Nouronnihar, he gives up his title and become a poor dervish, living in solitude. At the end, Ahmed sends a messenger to him and offers him a title and province, but Hussain wishes to remain where he is.
